Appearance - This beer arrived from the beer engine at the excellent Elliot Bay brewpub in West Seattle an orange-amber color with an offwhite, one finger head. It had average retention and moderate lacing.
Smell The nose is floral and not much else.
Taste - This beer is magnificently hoppy with tastes of hop oils, fruity hops, light citrus, and a long, tangy finish. The Amarillo hops really make this beer distinctive.
Mouthfeel - The mouthfeel is clean and medium-bodied.
Drinkability Solid, drinkable beer. Highly recommended.
