Moderately thick and fairly sustaining, tan head. Slightly sweet, toffee tinged, smooth, deeply roasted grains, with the slightest whiff of cocoa, makes up the aroma. The flavor is dominated for the first half with a very sharp, dark roasted wood feel and flavor. This gives way briefly to nearly burnt, roasted grains, then back into mainly sharpness, into the finish.
