On tap and served in an imperial pint glass.
Appearance & Aroma: It’s light-copper colored and slightly hazy, and it had almost no head on it, only a ring of bubbles around the edge of the glass. There was a definite citrusy and slightly floral hop aroma.
Taste & Feel: The body was medium and the mouthfeel was pretty smooth with a bit of crispness I couldn’t tell if it was from the carbonation or the hops. The front was lightly bready and malty with a bit of caramel, but it was only noticeable for a brief second before the hop bitterness came in. The bitterness was mostly citrusy, but as it opened up in the finish, a bit more floral and piney flavors came through. The hop bitterness lasted for a couple minutes in the aftertaste.
Overall Impression: I was really looking forward to some good IPAs here in the heart of hop country. This beer fit the bill nicely. It seemed to have a decent malt backbone – enough that it was detectable right up front – but was overtaken by the northwest style hops. There was a nice mix of citrusy, floral, and pine flavors, and I enjoyed tasting it well into the aftertaste. It was a solid IPA that any craft beer lover would certainly enjoy.

A - Golden with good clarity and a small head. Nice lacing though.
S - Floral and citrusy hops with a mild toasted malt aroma.
T - All hops (floral and citrusy) and a mild bitterness with a minimal toasted malt undertone. Admittedly some would say there's not enough malt but that's OK with me.
M - A bit on the thin side but a very nice, low carbonation.
D - I could drink this one all night long. Clean, crisp and hoppy just the way I like it.

Poured a golden copper with a small white head. Nose was weet and citrousy but dry and nothing to write home about. Hops were ok, tasted more like the traditional IPA to me. Wanted more from the dry hopping but didnt get it. Its a good beer to sit and drink but I have had better, sorry guys.

Pours with a fairly dense, creamy head that is a pale tan color. The beer itself is a clear, gold to light copper color. The aroma is a mix of pungent pine and citrus (lemon, gapefruit and orange) character. Actually the citrus aromatics become more noticeable as I spend time with this brew. The flavor is slightly dry, but does have a touch of caramel sweetness to it. The finish has notes of biscuit malt and a touch of toasty grain. The beer is dry enough that the citrus hop notes are muted in the taste; really leans more towards an herbal / lemon character.
