Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear amber with about a half inch of of slightly off-white head that dissipated quickly and left medium lacing.
A spicy aroma greets the nose, more spice than actual pumpkin I thought, with a nice malt base behind it. Those spices dominate the flavor profile, but on the finish there was some malt sweetness and a slight hop tang.
As this style is still developing, I gave body and drinkability average scores. I found the body to be thin, but again, there are no solid guidelines here. As far as drinkability goes, if you like the spicieness you'll like this beer. Worth trying.
