A: Poured a straw yellow color with good carbonation leaving a small white head

S: Nose is pretty tame, some citrus, veggie

T: Has a breadiness to it with some citrus. I also get a grassiness and vegetable like taste to it, like I would expect a hop grown on a Southern pasture to taste like, even some oniony notes

M: Lighter, not bad, good feel

D: Pretty good but not one I would go back to

On draught at the Collins Pub, Elliott Bay's Sorachi Ace Pale is dark gold, basically stile, with a very thing white collar and a smattering of large foam bubbles.

Smell is faint, citrusy, some bready malt.

Taste is sweet, loads of citrus from that hops that come off as a bit artificial really, like some kind of coconut candy. I personally like the sweeter, hoppy beers, with minimal bitterness, but they're not for everyone. The coconut is cool, like a barrel aged IPA, but younger and fresh.

Mouthfeel is slick, a little limp, medium light body.

Drinkability is okay. A sweet, hoppy pale. Showcases the Sorachi Ace's citrus characteristics, but better for observation them contemplation. I prefer single hop studies in the IPA style, where they're more overt.
