Had on tap at the brewpub as part of a sampler. I'm not a Kolsch basher, in fact I usually order it first if I see it on a brewpub's menu. But this version was just too bland for me, a very neutral interpretation of a subtle style. Usually you can get some subtle funky flavors but I didn't get them from this version, it just tasted like a light lager to be honest. At least it's easily drinkable, as there is nothing offensive in the flavor.
