Stopped by the brewpub on my way home from work and got my growler filled. Once home, I decided to dive in - Brew ported to a nice russet brown color with a good sized light tan head that had a fair amount of retention and did leave some lacing. The aroma was nice, a good malt scent, clean. The flavors highlight the malt with a slight Hallertau hop flavor that I feel could have been a little more pronounced. Feel that it seems a little watery to me and/or was missing something. What was there was very smooth and easy drinking. Just feel it missed in a few areas.
