Dark chocolate brown with walnut accents. Head is creamy and 2 fingers

Aroma of grapefruit rind, rust, dirty malts, and a touch of onion.

Flavor is heavily bitter, but not overly so. Lots of onion and garlic, some tomato and roast malts. Theres a distinct dark quality to it. Like schwarzbier meets ipa. Finish is piney with hints of roasted malt.

Feel is creamy and dense, with lots of carbonation.

Overall this was a nice try. I ordered it after trying a sample, so it was good enough for that!

A: It pours brilliant copper brown under a cream colored 2” foam collar that provices thin sheets of lace. S: The nose is a little muted with traces of grass, citrus and a slight earthiness. T: Malt flavors up front with caramel and a hint of cola followed by melon and citrus. The malt backbone blends into the hop flavors in the finish. The hop flavors are moderately high while the hop bitternedd is moderate. F: Creamy, medium body to a little above, medium carbonation. O: This is a pleasant DIPA with a good balance of hop and malt flavors.

Bottle. Pours a dark copper with a mild head. Aroma is very, very muted. I would have no idea what this beer was if I didn't read the label. Faint hops and some malt sweetness. Flavor is also offensively mild. Double IPA? Hops are extremely soft. Some pine. Caramelly sweetness. This beer is efficient in its lack of flavor. Homebrewesque. I do not like to roast a beer on this site but this one...this one...

The color is dark amber/brown. Not a ton of aroma. The taste is pretty decent though. I don't love the hop profile. It is a little sweet without being juicy. I think a little bit of the roasted malt comes through, but I don't think it is enough to really add to the beer much. The mouth feel is actually quite pleasant.
