After walking by this 22 oz. bottle for many months, the price dropped to $8/bottle & I caved in. “Barrel Aged in collaboration with J. Henry & Sons & Hy-Vee Wine & spirits.” Split with my wife.

The pour is dead black. And by dead I mean lifeless as a shallow holding pond off I-94. Faint nose of cocoa, vanilla, & something that might be TNT.

Millstream Vanilla Stout w/Cocoa Nibs – well, now I understand why this both sat on shelves & was marked down. It isn’t good. At all. Tastes like bad, flat store-brand cola with just a hint of vanilla. No bourbon. No cocoa. Just a bad, flat beer I’m not sure I could even identify as a stout. And don't get me started on the aftertaste...

Terrible beer; six sips between the two of us before drain pour.
