A: Pours a hazy peachish golden color with a fizzy two finger white head. Nice retention and pretty decent lace.
S: Surprising aromas of white wine and dark fruit. Weird.
T/M: Very carbonated. Very buttery. Slight wheat notes. Sweet floral and fruit hop notes. Sharp and choppy. Doesn't taste much like a kolsch--almost like a triple or hefe. There's some phenolic notes, etc.
D: Eh....Not sure I could try another one of these. Too carbonated and not as light and refreshing as I had hoped. Perhaps I got a bad one...

It is a brilliantly clear, full gold color and has a thin, pale white head. This beer has a soft fruity aroma. There is a bit of spicy herbal aromatics to this beer as well as some hints of apple and pear. The beer is quite light on the palate and there is a slightly spicy not up front, followed by a nice grainy finish. This beer is very light on the flavor, and it could certainly use a boost, even for a Kolsch. There is a bit too much of a green apple note here, makes me think of a fermentation flaw, which is hard to hide in a beer of this style. This is not bad, but certainly just isn't my bag.

Picked up a sample at Cost Plus World Market for $1.49. Bottle conditioned.

This golden brew poured a fine head into my pint leaving a bit of a lacing. Nose is of sweet malts and floral hops. Taste is pretty good, a sweet malt start with a slight hop finish with a bit of citrus in there. Mouthfeel is smooth yet lively on the palate. This is a nice session beer that I will try down at the brew house in the future.

Cask @ Papago
The beer as it sets in the class a limpid gold, the head is generous and bright white, creamy in texture with a thick cover of lace upon the glass. Nose is sweet malt, lime like in its crispness, fresh and inviting this nose, start is sweet, malt profile perfect and the top light to medium on the feel. Finish is modestly acidic, the hops personable in their spiciness, very dry and a fine drinking beer.

Many thanks to drweizen for sending this in his shipment of holiday beers... The beer is quite carbonated (with a slow pour, I got half head!) and leaves a gorgeous lace pattern on my glass.

The scent is barely noticeable - maybe a hint of floral notes, but not much else. The taste is lemony and also floral, but very subtely. Otherwise, the beer is a bit watery, with a chalky hoppy aftertaste that was kind of disappointing. Easy to drink, but nothing particularly exciting.

Picked this up in Glendale, AZ a week ago. Had a "best before" date of the 2nd week of August on the label. August of what year - 02, 03, 07?? Oh well, the appearance was pretty nice - a hazy golden color with a pillowy white head that left gobs of sticky lace all over the sides of the glass.
The smell was rather hoppy with kind of Sweet Tarts-esque sweet/sour aroma and some citrus peel notes. The taste was tart and bitey, with a citrus juice flavor up front. but developed a rather nasty medicinal flavor during the finish. The feel was light, a little on the thin side, and watery.
Overall, I can't say this beer is anything beyond average. Actually, I can say I found it to be disappointing.

Got this from a friend who lives near Phoenix. Poured a cloudy gold(bottle conditioned) with a tint of amber, huge bellowing head, nice citrus hop aroma, sweet orange rind first taste with a slighty rubber band type of aftertaste. This aftertaste got more predominant towards the end. The balance wasn't just right. I'll pass on this.
