A: The beer was a golden yellow/orange color with a moderate head on top. I saw an appropriate level of carbonation bubbles rising inside the glass. No lacing was left behind.
S: The dominant smell was a sweet malty aroma, and there was maybe a slight hint of non-floral hops.
T: The beer tasted very similar to how it smelled. The overall taste was very balanced between the sweet malt and bitter hops.
M: The specific gravity of this beer was good for the style- not too thick and not too thin.
D: With the combination of good carbonation, balanced flavors, and good mouthfeel, this beer was very drinkable. This was the second time I had tried this beer from Sun Up, and both times were enjoyable. Overall the beer was not too complex, but I would definitely drink it again.

This beer is supposed to be a German Style Pilsner. The first pilsner that the Brewers Den has ever made. The first thing one notices is the hops. A little bit too much hoppy aroma, flavor and bitterness for a true German Pilsner but a great version of a American style craft brewed German Pilsner. Dry hopped with halletauer hops. Nice rich golden color. Small white head. Good lacing on glass. Was very popular at our table. Another great Uwe-beer.
