Deep garnet in color as it sets in the glass with a prodigious head, frothy in texture, with the resultant lace a nice sealing sheet. Malt dominates the nose, crisp and clean quite pleasant with the start a bit to sweet and the top skinny in feel. The finish is strikingly acidic, pleasantly hopped, droughty aftertaste and a quite good session beer as it is not at all overpowering in any respect, but alas just an average beer in my books.

Deep copper color and a light tan head, which goes down to leave only a slight translucency rather quickly. Roasted smell with some slight tartness. This continues with the taste, tartness intensifies and some sweetness is added along with a bit of a nutty flavor. In the finish, a defined roasted grain character. Not a bad brew, rather satisfying.
