Nice little pour. Dark gold with a small, retentive head.
Rich malt smell with weak diactyl. The butterness is bad, but so light it's tolerable.
Tastes like painful butter badness. Icky icky bad. Slides down my throat like slime. It's so weak yet still so horrible. How?
Hard to choke down.

on-tap @ Beck's Brewpub in Waterloo, IA.
Appearance: Clear straw-yellow color. Thin layer of white foam. Lacing, virtually none.
Smell: Slight hops in the nose.
Taste: Mild malt flavorings, pretty plain. Obviously lacks a lot of complexity, but surprisingly, it does have some flavor..and a unique one at that. Good taste for it's style, but fairly one-dimensional overall.
Mouthfeel: a little more body than most light beers I've had, but keep in mind, it's still a low-alcohol, low-carb light beer. Fairly thin and watery mouthfeel.
Drinkability: I suppose you could drink this stuff all day. Since it's microbrewed, it's considerably better than nearly every light lager I've had, but not something I'd probably try again since I like something with a little more character.
