We Monkeys are brewing towards a day when Canucks won't have to look south of the border for artisanal creations with beers made with enough hops to rip your tongue from your mouth, beers with alcohol contents that rival spirits, beers aged in bourbon barrels, or creative beers brewed with bacon, poppies, or pecans. We see extreme beers as the continuing evolution of Craft Brewing, and part of the metaphorical crawl out of the ooze. It's not just a contest of bravado to see who can make the world's strongest beer; it's a movement - a movement to showcase the craft and how complex and versatile beer can actually be.
