Served in a 12 onze snifter glass. Pitch black in color it a light brown very creamy and sticky head. The retention is perfect too. The aroma is a light toasted malt and bitter-sweet chocolate. The taste is big on chocolate. But rich and creamy with a touch of carbonation. Toasted malts and a dry coffee hint. The creaminess of the body make this stout dangeriously easy to drink. A perfect dessert beer! And the alcohol content has been raised to 7.8%.

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with an indigo body and foamy tan head with great retention and saturnine rings of lace
Smell: Very little aroma - biscuity with a light roast
Taste: Chocolate flavor on the front end with slightly roasted notes on the finish
Mouthfeel: Creamy full body with moderate carbonation; warming on the finish
Drinkability: Very drinkable, but a bit under-flavored; more like an "Imperial Cream Stout" than a Russian Imperial
