Very fresh growler poured into a tall, thin pokal glass yields a clear sunny golden body capped with a thick layer of white foam that diminishes to a sheet and leaves plenty of webby lacing on the glass.
The aroma is mild and malty with a crisp note of dry Chardonnay.
Served at about 55 degrees, the taste is dryly nutty with a lemony zip and mildly spicy bitterness. A bit of crisp white wine vanishes into a mellow caramel note that adds a little oomph to an otherwise very light flavor profile.
Smooth and drinkable.
