Shaker pint draft is served with a thin white cap of foam atop a clear glowing amber body. Not much lacing is left on the glass.
Lemongrass is in the recipe, and WOW it is awesome in the nose of this husky little beauty of a drink! Tangy, citrusy, lemony essences try to trick my mind into thinking they're 'C' hops...could be a few in there... but TWANG! goes the lemongrass...the aroma is bracing and awakening. Whoa.. what the hell is up with all that spearmint?!?!?
The taste of the drink is mildly pale malty with a solid tang of lemon, and here the rye finaly makes a statement with a tingling spiciness that makes the drink both savory and refreshing.
Light-bodied with excellent drinkability despite the oddball herbal-ness.
