Dark copper pour, one finger sticky beige head. Some flakey floaters from the bottom of the bottle.
Low smell, some malts and herbal notes, also a vegetable aroma, like green pepper peels.
Toasted malts, some dry red apples. Yeasty, but without a big range of spices. Also crisp, without being too zesty. Noble hops in the finish, mildly bitter. Peppers are mostly felt in the aftertaste, a bit warm and prickly, not too aggressive, even for people that don't like spicy food/drinks.
Medium carbonation fits well. Chewy from the yeastiness.
Perfectly crafted when focusing on the peppers, but there isn't much else to it. Still, one of the enjoyable chili beers.

Clear copper color with a good head that stays quite long. Looks like a Vienna Lager.
Aroma isn't very strong but pretty interesting. Roasted malt, caramel and some honey. It gets better as it warms. No chili here just a generic sweetness.
At first it tastes like a typical helles with less malt character and some hop bitterness. In the aftertaste you get a light tingle from the chili.
Medium, soft body light to medium carbonation. After you have a few sips, the chili starts to tingle more and more but it doesn't really get hot.
Interesting beer overall. At first there isn't much in the taste but as you drink it, the chili comes through. If the taste had more malt character and sweetness it would have been way better.

I thought this should be a nice surprise after pouring it in my tulip glass.
Dark copper appearance, nice one finger head with medium retention. The smell is malty with a hint of cocoa, cloves, wood and a bit of chili. You won't waste a lot of time smelling this one.
The smell is translated into taste with a touch of dark fruits and a tone of chili after-taste. It's acidic, with medium carbonation, light alcohol feel. Cloves, spices and chili come together in a cool mouth feel. It's a taste that stands out. It may be, like every spicy food or liqueur, a remember me beverage.
The overall impression is that of a tasty, spicy, drinkable beer.
The lack of good hops in the smell and taste make this a half of the table beer.
