L: Black, almost pitch black, with dark brown highlights at the edges. Topped with a thin tan head that leaves sheets of lacing.
S: Dark chocolate, caramel, cocoa powder, burnt toast, and banana.
T: Dark chocolate, cocoa powder, toast, caramel, burnt barley, subtle banana, musty, grainy oats, and a lightly bitter cocoa powder finish.
F: Medium-light, moderately carbonated.
O: Not much Belgian character, but a solid oatmeal stout.
