Had on-tap at the brewpub in Watkins Glen, NY. Poured into a 10 oz goblet.
L: Pours a clear ruby copper color. Two fingers of foamy white lace. Great lacing.
S: Dark fruits and spice... Belgian yeasts and candy sugar.
T/F: Malty and caramel up front. Nice and spicy... great dark fruits with fig and plum. Complex... well carbonated and a bit of hopping to tone it all down at the finish.
O: Very nice Dubbel... a treat to drink and a wonderful first beer for my introduction to the brewer.
