Old Cascade Amber Ale has a dark copper-colored body with a pretty big off-white head. The lacing and retention are both pretty good.

The aroma is sharply fruity with a hint of grain behind it.

I think this beer is supposedly made with aged cascade hops. What I get is a huge, cloying, almost sour fruit flavor up front that dominates the beer. The finish has a bit of grain in it, but mostly this is just over-ripe fruit.

I didn't really want to keep this one in my mouth long enough to feel it.

I was not a fan of this one at all. I don't think that infection was a problem, I think that this beer is supposed to taste this bad.

The beer pours a hazy amber color with a thick frothy offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a pale and crystal malt scent along with bitter hop bite. The taste is average. It has a crisp, pale and crystal malt flavor that goes down easy and finishes quite bitter with some off flavors. The funk really ruins the whole experience. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is an average beer at best. It unbalanced and seemingly contaminated.
