A: Dark inside the restaurant, so I may miss a few things with the appearance. Looks like it pours a clear orange/red color. Not much of a head with some spotty lacing.
S: Very light amounts of spice, caramel, toast and some roasted nuts.
T: Large amounts of caramel hit the palate first, followed up by a nice spicy flavor in the middle, followed up with more caramel, bread and nuts on the back end.
M: A nice medium bodied beer. Leaves a creamy taste on the palate.
D: Very easy to drinkt his Irish Ale. Very sweet and very malty. Would enjoy this again.

Irish Red. Poured from tap at the Brewery about an hour ago into a clean, clear glass.
A Very appropriate "red ale" look of a crimson translucent with minimal, quick dissapearing head.
S Nice, appropriate amber (medium roast malt smell).
T Basic Red ale. Unfortunately it is too basic and unadventurous. There really was no further qualities that I could comment on.
M Moderate with that classic yet unadventurous Amber Ale feel.
D A little bit better than average. Although this is a basic Red Ale it delivers on its promise of an Irish Red.
Notes: I was not inspired by this basic Red Ale.

Like all the beers I sampled at the Chop House, this one was served in a large glass mug.
The beer is garnet with a beige head. There is some clingy lace on the sides.
I get caramel, nuts and toasted grain on the nose.
The taste is slightly woody with some sweet notes. There is slowpoke sucker type taste backed by something slightly earthy. This is well balanced.
The mouth is silky which helps overcome some basic thinness. Easy enough to drink, but for me at least, not interesting enough to session.

(Served in an American pint glass)
A- This beer has a clear mahogany wood body if not a bit more red than that. On top is a thin but sticky light tan head that last by clinging to the glass for the full beer. This beer has a very gentle carbonation.
S- This beer has a big dry biscuit aroma and some pale malt notes aswell. Overall the smell is very clean except for the biscuit.
T- This beer has a nice dry medium toasted malt flavor with a big biscuit malt flavor to follow. There is a soft pint hop note in finish but there is no real bitterness to the hops only flavor. As it warms there is a light dark toasted malt hint in the background.
M- This beer has a medium mouthfeel.
D- This beer has a big biscuit note that dominates with little support from the other malts or hops. Perhaps me review is a big skewed by all the over use of biscuit malt lately but I would like to taste the other flavors with the biscuit.

(part of a 6oz sampler)
This was the rotating/special offering while I was there, and also my favorite of the sampler. Poured a beautiful, ruddy copper hue with a mixed head of clinging cream colored foam.
Nose is very complex, creating an initial curiousity into what I'm getting into. Its rich, malted, with hints of coffee, mud, earthy, even some nut traces...hhhmm
The game continues on the tongue. Its rich, resonating with caramel, malts, ever so smooootthhh. The dance slides across my pallete and finishes with a surprising coffee imbued finish that...oh....echoes so nicely and long.
This may be the best Irish Red I have had. Its an interesting interpretation of the beer, and I highly recommend trying it. It was my favorite that day, and I enjoyed a full pint with a turkey Reuben with fries, which was a great paring.
