(part of a 6oz sampler)
Poured a slightly murky, warm amber hue with a loose head of off-while foam that laced & clung slightly. Nose is crisp with hops, also citrus, sharper than a Pale Ale, with some strong fruit currants underneath.
Its creamy, smooth on the tongue, rich. Subtle citrus/orange flavors are present. The hops peak on the pallete nicely, then it slides into a different hopped finish with a clean, bitter finish. This was very enjoyable, a nice beer to enjoy on a late July evening. Worth a try.
