Dry Hop Stout. Poured from tap at the Brewery about an hour ago into a clean, clear glass. 5.8% ABV. American Stout.
A Black body, cannot see light through it with a big, thick head.
S Hops and dark malt of a stout very noticable. Brewer has done a good job nailing the style and the name is very appropriate.
T First few sips: Hoppy stout, nice syrupy sticky int othe aftertaste. Later (after it sat and warmed up for 10 minutes) a Medicinal rubbing alcohol quality to it.
M Thick, heavy mouthfeel with that minimal syrupy quality later in the taste spectrum.
D I could really only have one of these due to its bigness, big flavors.
Notes: Successful at following through with what was intended. I did not appreciate that medicinal taste that came out when the beer warmed up.
