Schwarzbier Stout. Poured from tap at the Brewery about an hour ago into a clean, clear glass. 5.1% ABV.
A Very dark brown, appears a dark ruby when direct light seen through it. Nice frothy head on top sticks around for a few minutes.
S Very little really. I might have smelled some dark roasted malts.
T Dark malt and (unfortunately) spoiled wood bark. That taste was not welcome. Is this typical of a Schwarzbier?
M Full with dark malt and that spoiled wood bark taste.
D Not good due to the objectionable taste that I was getting.
Notes: Dissapointed in this stout although the appearance was nice.
