Light Lager. Poured from tap at the Brewery about an hour ago into a clean, clear glass.
A Poor. Thin, watery look with a hint of straw color and nearly no head. I am not impressed by the look.
S Not much of anything. Maybe some distant malt.
T Light, distant grains. Not a whole lot more. I know that this is a light beer but really the taste leaves a lot to be desired.
M Very light (and true to the style).
D Great drinkability (that is the point of this beer me thinks) and just like Bud Light I will not likely test its drinkability with no further efforts to purchase this beer.

(Served in a tall thin mug)
A- This beer has a good snow white head that fades to a thin film with a very gentle carbonation. The light hue of yellow body was crystal clear.
S- This beer has a light pale malt note with a raw grain hint to it. The smell was pretty clean.
T- The taste of corn had a slight dandelion note in the finish. There was a pale malt flavor in the background that gave some support to the field corn notes. There was a slight sweet and slight bittern quality to it but the flavor was pretty light.
M- This beer has a very light mouthfeel with a light texture.
D- Although this beer was very light and not much to it the dandelion flavor with the corn was a pleasant twist and made this pretty drinkable. It was a nice surprise.

(part of a 6oz sampler)
With the growing popularity of light beers, it seems more and more that brewpubs offer them. When sampling, its always these that go first. A clear, pale gold, with a wisp of white lace as a head (although barely present it did surprisingly lace). The nose was pretty good for a light with a delicate aroma of its malt & hop components.
Initially its the malt flavors rising up on the tongue, some mild hops. Light, of course, but its nice and crisp, albeit a bit thin, but what do you expect? There are some some noticable hops on the swallow, but only in relevance to its light body.
As lights go, its not bad. Would definitely be a good intro beer to a non-BA buddy.

Great taste for a light beer. Actually, the fact that this beer had taste at all is an accomplishment in the light beer arena. They actually used some hops. Better than Sam Adams Light for sure.
