The fourth english beer i try.
A: Yellowish brown color like tamarind, a thin layer of solid foam;
S: Sweet, roasted malt, honey notes and figs;
T: Rough, essences or roasted malt, sugar and prunes, i expected a lot of honey but no;
M: Dry and bittersweet, low carbonation and proper body;
D: Very easy to drink, i enjoyed it watching the champions league game Barcelona vs Chelsea.

Clear 500ml bottle, poured into a UK pint glass (normal straight sleeve).
True amber colour, clear and bright with a good cream coloured head.
Caramel and vanilla aroma, a lot sweeter than most UK Pale Ales.
The sweetness doesn't follow into the taste a great deal, but it isn't a bitter taste, it has a hoppy bite and the malted Barley also comes to the fore as the beer warms.
Clean mouthfeel rather than a rich, heavy, creamy texture. The 4.5% is evident but blends well into the well balanced beer.
I don't like bottles of UK Ale to state 'Served Chilled'. I did because they asked me too, but a proper UK Ale should come to the table at about 50-52F degrees.

500ml bottle
Pours with a light copper body, fizzy off white head with some retention
Smell, some fresh hops, little bit of malt in the background
Taste, very english malty profile with some thick single flavour hops, light bitterness
A fair ale but pretty uninspiring
