330ml Bottle: BBD 18 Nov 2013. Poured at home on 6 Sep 2013.

A lot better than I thought it would be once I saw it was 'naturally flavoured with fresh ginger'.

Lager like in looks, light and golden with a thin white covering.

The aroma had a mini ginger note or two, but not enough to upset me (I'm not a ginger beer sort of guy).

The taste also had hints of ginger, again not enough to ruin the beer. There were citrus flavours helping to balance out the traces of ginger and I found the beer both refreshing and enjoyable. I think it would go well with a decent curry.

M: thinner but refreshing, high carbonation

O: light ginger flavors mix nicely with hops

Bottle into Chimay goblet in low altitude Galway, Ireland. Bottle obtained at McCambridge's Galway.

A: Pours a 1 finger head, very thin, and of poor retention. Hazy light copper colour.

Sm: Ginger, lemon citrus ester. Very strange.

T: Ginger body, but thankfully restrained. Tingly lemon on the open and climax. Built simply but effectively.

Mf: Nicely coarse and wet, but nothing special.

Dr: Far too expensive for a mediocre beer. Strange but far from unique.
