Perlenbacher Premium Pils, ABV: 3.5%.
500 ml bottle, in a cheap 6-pack from Lidl.
A: Pale golden in colour. The head is white, foamy, quite stubborn, and leaves some lacing.
S: That malty aroma of brewery is here, mixed with some hay as well as some lemons. It's not spectacular, but at least it feels like a real pilsener on the nose.
T: Clean, but kind of watery taste, with decent notes of white bread, fresh-cut grass, and citrus fruits. Perhaps even some minor metallic flavours - still decent, however.
M: Pretty light body, OK bitterness, and average carbonation. It's easy to drink, but it lacks some crisp. In the end I get an aftertaste with a fair share of bread and herbs.
O: Well, it doesn't have all the features of a great pilsener, but it isn't bad for a cheap 3.5% "folköl" only found at a chain of discount stores. An OK beer, with everyday food, or when you're just thirsty.

A clear pale straw colored brew, lots of small bubbles, a white foamy head settling somewhat unevenly, but leaves good lacing.
Faint sweet corn, sour dishwater.
Limited maltiness, slightly battery acidity, a somewhat coarse bitterness.
Medium carbonation, but goes down quickly, a small body, a rough dry finish.
Nope, did not really enjoy this one, seemed to be optimized on low production cost.
