Slight haze and a gold/orange colour. There was a fine, off-white cap that produced some lace and hung around for a while. Aromas of grain, whole wheat crackers, light citrus. A little less than moderate bitterness with a lot of orange and citrus flavour, a bit herbal, crackers. Smooth texture, lowish carbonation and light plus body. Off dry. A good drinker, easy going down and with some character.

Came out to a golden color with lower than normal carbonation. Short lived head died out before getting to my table. Supposedly made from 4 grains instead of 1, this beer did have a complexity that is not often found in micro brews. Odors of hops, wheat and barely were noted. Taste of hops and malt were present is a very smooth form, as this brew went down exceptionally easy. Finshed crisp and slighly dry. I dig this beer. Recommended.

On tap at FSB.

This one pours a medium gold in color, clear and shimmering with a thin white head that disapated fairly quickly. They list this as a four grain beer, not just wheat, so I'm not entirely sure what it qualifies as. Regardless it is very well crafted and nicely balanced. Nose is a bit estery with no overt bitterness, it just comes off very smooth. Taste is very nice indeed, smooth and estery as the nose suggests but also with a nice bread-like quality, alot like a whole grain bread (gee, I wonder why, eh?). There is a nice sweetness to it as well, almost sugary, candy-like but not overwhelming. It's all balanced well by a slight bitterness and a subtle hop character. This is quite an understated brew overall, very quietly complex, but not overwhelmingly so, there is a good bit going on here, but is still easy to palate.

Overall a solid offering, and of course very fresh. I would not hesitate to drink a few of these, I actually crave another right now, and it's only been 3 hours! Drink Michigan beer!
