Nice brew here. Presented a reddish orange color with a small white head. Aromas of malt and juniper were present, bringing to mind a Sahti. Flavors of juniper berries, dry earth, grain and malt. Very nice. Mouthfeel was thin, almost watery, but could've been overlooked if the carbonation was higher. Overall, good drinkability. Very similar to the Sahti style, only with an American twist on it. Recommended.

Very delicately spiced ale here. Listed in their menu as being brewed with wheat, rye, malted barley, honey and juniper.
Served in a standard pint and poured a medium and crystal clear amber in color with a thin off-white head that fizzled into a thin swirl after a few minutes. Nose is slightly spicy and malty, but also quite fresh as well. Taste is slightly bitter with a slightly creamy malt backbone. The different grains lend something a little different than expected, but not overwhelmingly so. The juniper doesn't come through enough for my own tastes, only a slight echo of it overall really. Mouthfeel solidly medium but quite drinkable overall, went well with dinner.
