A-Poured a nice deep brown-red amber with slightly off-white head. Left some nice lacing.
S-Citrusy hops (grapefruit, orange, and hints of pine) with a malty backbone, but the hops are thick, and totally dominant.
T-Slightly sweet and subtle malt carries the flavors well, but the star is all the hops they crammed into this concoction. It's quite good...and lucky I love hops as much as I do. Nice bouquet of floral notes with grapefruit and other citrus. The malt does nice job holding it together, and the hops are fresh and clean.
M-Medium bodied but borders on the edge of syrupy at times. There is an excellent blend of sweet and dry.
D-Very good. Drink this one last when you visit the brewery...your taste buds will be numb and unable to decipher most basic flavors after exposure to hops. A good double that commands respect.

A: Dark orange color with a lively head of foam and nice lacing. Carbonation level was medium to medium low.
S: Holy Hop Heaven! Lots of cascade and summit hops, right off the bat. Mild note of dry malt. Nice.
T: Middle of the road, well made DIPA. Strong notes of hops and mild citrus flavors. Malt character was mild and dry. Nice.
M: Enjoyable. This one had so many hops I had to take a break between sips. Very dry to say the least, but not parching or overbearing.
D: Good. Another solid FSB from Doug. Well made, and could be a contender for the best local DIPA.
