The Burning Leaf is probably one of the better Oktoberfest/Marzen style beers that I have tried. The beer poured clear ruby red, with thin white head and no lacing. There wasnt much scent other than subtle sweet malt character. The taste was excellent....there was enough hop that balanced the marzen malt. The hops either or similar to noble hops. not adding much in the form of scent or flavor, but good enough to balance the beer. The mouthfeel was medium body with good carbonation. Overall....like I said....best Marzen style I have had recently. Great job.

A Vienna, Marzen, Oktoberfest style lager. Malty, with a pleasant nutty finish. Very quaffable!
