The Kappa Haka is made with New Zealand Hops....this is the second beer I have tried that was brewed with NZ hops. The appearance was ok....the color was clear copper/amber color with thin white head that did not seem to lace. The smell was heavy with bitter citrus and slight roast from the malt. The aftertaste was very grapefruity bitter and clinged to the pallet. The mouthfeel was medium body with decent carbonation. Overall a good IPA...not the best I have had....but good.

An India Pale Ale style made with a rare & unique hop from New Zealand. Very smooth, with hints of tropical fruits.
