The name means "the Chimney-sweeper". All the brews from this micro brewery got names from medieval titles.

The colour is pinch black. The finger thick pale brown head sinks slowly leaving massive amounts of lacing.
The smell is bitter and very roasted. There are some lightoy sourish notes as well as a distinct note of oat porridge and a touch of dark bread (Pumpernickel).
The taste is robust with lots of sourness and rolled oats. The taste is not as heavy as I expected. Some notes of yeast and a hint of wax. A light bitterness continues in the aftertaste, I found some roasted/salty notes of broth. The finish brings some elegant sweet and sourish flavours.
The carbonation is mild, it brings some foam in the mouth. The liquid is smooth and somewhat creamy.
I found this stout very drinkable and not as heavy as I had expected. Perhaps it is a bit too mild?
