Pours a murky reddish brown, with low, fine head.
Smell is rich and full of raisins and golden syrup, with hints of chocolate, oak and vanilla.
Taste is quite fruity, with hints of raisins, syrup, oak and vanilla, like the smell. It also adds a nice, balanced bitterness and just a hint of leather.
Mouthfeel is a little bit too thin for my liking, well carbonated.
Overall, a very good barley wine, that I wish was a little bit thicker.
