Odd, first review? Maybe this was a one off and that makes sense because I don't recall seeing this on other trips. It started with big head than left sticky lace and was black so average for porters. Smelled of burnt hops and malt. Average. Mouth was watery but a good bitter wash and a slight caramel aftertaste. About right. The burnt hops and malt were toasty and tasted full bodied and this had a stronger bitter from same. Caramel was a nice touch, but nothing mixed really well.
So, this was about average for a porter but I drank a few while I was there so it gets a a slightly better than average for the drinkability.
