A- It was black and had very little head. the were hints of red around the edges if I held it up to the light.

S- HAZELNUT!!! Ther were hints of malts in the background and hops but the had to searched for.

T- See "S" description.

M- it left a heavy slick gummy feeling on the tounge. Very creamy.

D- . As for all of their other beers. Outstanding. It was just way too stong on the hazelnut. Good to the style, but just not my taste.

Appearence: Very Dark, Very Thick, Very Stout.
Smell: STRONG hazlenut smell, almost reminded me of suntan lotion.
Mouth: Oily and thick. Very good.
Taste: Hazelnuts. As advertised, but it wasn't a true suttle flavor, it was a knock-you-in-the-head Hazlenut flavor. After a few sips, I got used to it, and it settled down to a good stout but, I couldn't get the thought out of my mind, it was suntan lotion. Spicy, peppery finish.
Drinkability: I don't think I will have this one again preferring plain old stout or coffee stout. Therefore, lower drinkability. I think if they backed off on the flavoring, it would bring this one up.
