I asked for a sample of this beer, I knew it was a Chile Beer and wouldn't want an entire glass. Reviewed this past weekend while out with friends.
Appearance - very very dark - porter
Smell - hints of burnt chile peppers with some added barley and roasted flavors.
Taste - lots of chiles in this. very different to the normal porter or stout of old. Feels like I should be eating mexican food to go with this.
Mouthfeel - great! no carbonation and easy to drink; the flavor is overwhelming though.
Drinkability - I could only drink one sample of this (not an entire glass). I liked the flavor, but it is going to be a while before I get used to this.
