Tons of pepper in both the nose and palate. Rose hips and potpourri too… This is kind of like drinking the aroma of Pier One imports. Light body with aggressive carbonation and a thin off white head. Gold with a slight purple tinge. Not my cup of tea but exceptionally unique because of the spice profile. This is a one heavily spiced beer. Very cool.

Poured a clear golden color and a fluffy white head with descent retention. Enormous blueberry nose and other light fruits. Floral layers, perfumey, and fruit characters are dominant from the beginning. Good hop addition makes for a bitter touch and counterbalancing the sweet and abundant fruit characters found here. The blueberry doesn’t taste like added flavor which I half expected but a nice tart tannin, almost spicy flavor. More notes citrus, grassy, herbal tea, sprucey, and some wheat characters. Thin body, medium carbonation, and an easy drinker makes this beer more ideal for summer quencher. The mouth is smooth with some crispness around the edges. Tremendous lacing to the bottom.

Had it on tap at the brewery.

Brew has about a quarter inch thick head. It had a blue tint to it. Very interesting. The smell: holy blueberry. Actually smells like a cup full of freshly picked blueberries. The taste is weird on this one. With first sip it is the carbonation is the most dominate mouthfeel. So much so, it almost disguises any taste. However the taste that is left is blueberry. I knew it had to come out sooner than later. Overall its a decent brew, the smell is its best attribute, and I can't really have more than 1 or 2 (too much carbonation and blueberry)

Quick review:

Ap: Light gold in color. Minimal head with spotty lacing

Smell: Strong blueberry notes.

Taste: Blueberry notes with a slight hop presence.

Notes: This is basicly a one trick pony. But what a trick! An instant favorite I wouldn't mind revisiting.
