What a great beer to start off my beerathon from Cleveland to Ann Arbor,poured from the tap a clear deep copper with an almost creamy looking tight off white head.Big hops in the nose mixed with a hint tangy rye very resiny and piney over top,this to me comes as close to BR Hop Rod as you can get maybe surpassing it deep resiny flavors along with some citrus rind and pine a slight spicey/tangy rye note came thru as I drank more along with a touch of caramel malt but they took a backseat to the hops.A great beer I should have got a growler of it.
