25 cL bottle. Black with very little by way of a head. Smells fruity, oaky, and chocolatey. Lots of sugar and alcohol. It’s an interesting nose, heavy on the barrel. I thought cherry at first, as the raspberry has almost no acidity. Tastes much more of raspberry. Sharp and a little tart. Bourbon has a much more distinct flavor. Dominates the flavor. Chocolate, licorice, very rich and boozy. Heavy and quite sweet. Really good, but I think the rarity and hype is building this thing up.

8/5/2018; sweetness to nose like a mead, medium body for a porter-- well balanced and easy drinking.

Pitch black with brown fudge dense creamy head with good retention. Chocolate on the nose lasts throughout. Taste is chocolate raisin molasses, and mouthfeel is thick and silky smooth. This is the top non-adjunct RIS on the planet!

Pours very dark with minimal head. Smell is boozy and fruity, almost mead-like. Think Schramm's Black Agnes but with roasted malts. Taste is not nearly as sweet, as the chocolate and bourbon come through. The raspberry is not tart at all. Feel is medium with dry finish. I only wish it was in a larger bottle to enjoy more of it.

Bottle at akkurat.
Tan head. Black color.
The right amount of raspberries. Not to tart. More sweet. Chocolate covered. Soft, warming bourbon. Caramel and oak.
Full bodied, but could be a little thicker. Nice carbonation. Soft.
Fantastic beer. Reminds of raspberry Jack Frost with bourbon notes.
