Copenhagen 2911 2023. 33 cl chubby bottle from Beershoppen web-shop. Simple black label with a green shamrock.

Pours opaque dark brown with a big off-white head. Stable. Settles as 5 cm thick crown of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty, roasted odor mingling with a bit of salty licorice and coffee. Dark roasted malts, caramel and toffee. Dry vibe.

Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, lively and tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.

Pretty light. Well balanced and dry.

Poured to BrewDog snifter.

A: Body is black with a medium to light density. Head is beige and has good retention to the whole top of the beer, not only to the side of the glass.
S: Aroma is strong on light and perfectly roasted malt, there's some light touch of lactose I guess ending in a almost sweet to chocolate like finish.
T: Taste starts off with a sweet like a lactose start, moving then to a milk chocolate tone, ending in a lightly roasted malt as if you had some instant coffee infused on this beer but without its bitterness, which is, nonetheless, a very good thing.
M: Body is light. Carbonation is great and high. Alcohol is unnoticed. Bitterness is very low and sweetness is high.
O: This beer grows on you. It starts by not being a great thing to desire but as you drink, you get its drinkability and balance. Again, Närke is technically very good at brewing stuff.
