Big thanks goes out to BRoss242 for bringing this one to share! Served from growler into a Mikkeller taster flute. Poured a massively dark brown with a minimal khaki colored head. Maintained decent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, coffee, caramel, and wood. The flavor was of sweet malt, roasted malt, coffee, wood, and subtle caramel. It had a light feel on the palate with mild carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. The coffee flavor was really nice to have first thing in the morning. That's right, I'm drinking this at 10AM. And based on the flavor, I don't feel guilty about this one bit. Definitely worth trying if you get the chance!

Dark black with a khaki head of tight, small bubbles. Roasty coffee notes some dark fruits, stone fruit. Prickly, fuzzy carbonation nice medium body.
The taste is slightly sweet roasted malt, a nice minerality to it in the finish. Somewhat fruity with a lingering bitter semi sweetcocoa powder, espresso bean finish.
Overall, really enjoying this beer. If this is nicaraguan coffee tatses like, I would drink it, if I drank coffee.
Luckily I like coffee in my beer. Very nice coffee porter, wish it was more easily available. Must try.
