25cl capped bottle into a Narke snifter.
Nice, fluffy light mocha head. Spotty lace. Beer is pitch black but moderately thin. Nose is sweet cream, liquorice, anise, and a touch of roasted malt. Sweet, mellow, subtle. Beer opens chocolate, sweet cream, light roast. Anise and liquorice in the middle. More roast towards the end balanced perfectly with a milk chocolate. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Mellow and silky on the palate. Goes down soft and delicate. Lightly dry aftertaste.
Incredible balance with amazing drinkability. This is near perfect for the style.
