Smoked Tripel? Why not right?
Typical blond color for the style. Quite a bit of pillow like head. Typical tripel smells. Banana, cloves, bit of wheat and bubble gum.
Pretty damn smokey flavor. Absolutely not what I was expecting based on the aroma and color of the beer. Narke's idea of a smoked beer is very different from a traditional rauch. Apperently they use malt smoked over peat. Some of it they sourced locally and some is imported from outside Sweden. Extremely smokey. Almost like a scotch whiskey. The smoke lingered in my mouth for quite a while. I loved it but I also love scotch.
Great stuff!
