Pours a deep ruby with thick, tan head.
Smell is roasted and a bit sweet. Notes of dried fruit, brown bread, leather, citrus and a hint of charred wood.
Taste is roasted with a nice underlying fruitiness. Notes of brown bread, dried fruit, leather, wood and citrus peel. Moderate bitterness, and very crisp and clean, as always with Oppigårds.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very clean beer, true to style and easily drinkable.
