Pours a clear amber with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is malty and bready, clean and crisp. Notes of honey, syrup loaf, citrus and rye with some spicy hints.
Taste is malty, bready and a bit sweet. Notes of syrup loaf, honey rye, toast and knäckebröd. Soft, but distinct bitterness and perfect balance.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, chewy and creamy with good carbonation.
Overall, a masterful Märzen, close to perfection.
