Official this is an low carb English-style summer ale. Placed into pale mild category, as it is the clsoest I could find. Judged as a low-carb beer, not an English style summer.
Pours a half finger of soda pop-like white head over a bleached light straw-colored liquid. Many fluffy white particulates in the glass, and I was careful to keep the sediment in the bottle. The head nearly compeltely disappears, except a small pool fed by a few streamers. Smells woody, oranges, and tin hops. Perhap a dash of corn. Musty and earthy hops.
Teasing, but not actually sweet. Water malt profiel over noticable hops. Hops come across as oxidized sour metallic on the empty backbone. Very macro-like, but much more floral hoppy than any macro. Thin body and mouthfeel with strong carboantion.
