Notes from June 2017.
Six pack of brown short neck 12 ounce bottles fresh, 3 weeks old and refrigerated. Purchased in Eau Claire, WI.
"The beer that is beer" is on the label. This is the worst excuse for beer that I've ever had. One sip and I spat it out and got the gawks. Empty reaching for 30 minutes until I could hold down water, I watched others at the party of about 120 souls (having Bud, Old Style, PBR) open a bottle of this vomitus gruel, drink a couple of sips and pour it out onto the 40 acre cow pasture where it rightly belonged. Not a pilsner and not a beer. Why would ANYONE put their name on such a revolting product? BTW where I poured my bottle out the grass and weeds died overnight. Absolutely shocking.

12oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
LOOK: Clear yellow straw, bubbly w/ a good head.
SMELL: Granny Smith apples, astringent grain, yeast
TASTE: Apple skin, Granny Smith apples, husk grain, bready, yeast, hint of tartness, dry, cooked veggies
A pretty dirty Light Lager, they style should be extremely clean which is not seen here. Better yeast, mashing and a filter would work here. Pass.
